I heard about the author and her books a lot especially on Amazon so I decided to give her a chance especially considering that she is a very known author . Even though perfect you isn't my first book of her ( the unwritten rule is review coming soon for it which I hated btw ) but I decided to give her another chance after all one book doesn't mean that all of her books are bad , so I decided to try Perfect you since it got so many good 5 star reviews . As much as i hate reviewing bad books because I know that the author nonetheless spent time and effort into them and worked hard , and criticism does hurt .. However , I have to as a blogger i cant just review the books that i like or give bad books good ratings , but I'll to to act more professional and not mean with the review
So to start the Review the plot :
Kate Brown is a high school student and life isn't going to well . Her dad quit his job so he can achieve his dream selling vitamins at the mall so because it's a new business he cant afford to hire people to work with him so his daughter has to work at the shop too . The business is not a success and so this lead to problems in the family and not just financially . To top that ever since her best friend left her to become popular she is alone and friendless . And there is also Will . They have like a love hate relationship at times she can't stand him and at times he is all she can think of . So her family life is as messed it up as it is does she really want to put herself into a another love mess too ?
My Thoughts :
My favourite genre is romance so when I read the book I said to myself oh this seems like a nice little romance book to dig in too . Everything was wrong in this book nothing was developed the characters were just useless they had nothing that u know makes them seem real and alive . Even though it could have been a nice good beach read it wasn't . It has a nice plot but it didn't reach its full potential . The writing was just horrible . It felt like a more of a journal than a book . Now the story , it just sucked nothing made sense and especially the ending , through out the whole story I was just like what the hell ? It was just annoying and I wished I spent this time reading another book sort of a waste . Even the romance it was just stupid . I don't even know how to describe it . Annoying i mean i usually love the hate love thing but in this it was just like oh come on ! get on with it . There was just nothing in the relationship between them no development just plain stupid . One minute she cant stop thinking about him and she like him and then the other she is shouting at him ?! that was literally it through out the whole story .Unfortunately , i wont be recommending it anytime soon
