Love undercover is one of the books in the Simon Romantic Comedies collection . I heard about these books on amazon , the first one I read ( which I will review soon ) is The boys next door by Jennifer echols which i absolutely Loved !
The Plot :
Kaitlyn Nichols ,16, is the daughter of an FBI secret agent . She is your typical 16 year old girl .Lives a semi normal life until her dad announces that he is taking his work home with him this time literally . When Blaine ,17 enters the witness protection program its her dad's job to keep him safe so he lets him live in this house for a while until he is able to go back to his home in Texas but its not only her dad's job to keep him safe but also kaitlyn and especially at school where he suddenly becomes the centre of attention .........

As I said before I first heard about this book on amazon ( or was it goodreads ?) ahh never mine the point is I thought it will be similar to the previous Simon romantic comedy book ( the boys next door , different authors btw ) but sadly it didn't reach my expectations . Its not that horrible . I didn't hate but it was just an okay book nothing special . I felt like the story needed more development even the characters . At times it felt a little boring to tell you the truth . It had potential to be a great summer book but sadly it didn't reach it . Everything was kinda predictable even the ending . There wasn't a lot of comedy or romance which was weird considering it is a romantic comedy . It is a fast book though but it did have some good aspects like its a page turner , sometimes it does get very sweet the dialogue and funny and it is sorta hard to put down so you always want to know what happens next . There are also some awwww moments overall its good but not amazing .
